The local church To support the Pastors/ Ministers of all local churches in their ministry to the Business People in their churches.  Help all the Business People see the commission of the LORD to the LOCAL CHURCH as HIS appointed agency in the transition of the world.  To help the Local Church to define its vision to enable the Business People to find service and stewardship areas WITHIN the Local Church.   ICBN membership To recruit new Members and build effective service Chapters in each area.  Develop new Chapters wherever viable in Local Churches.   To provide trainers, resource materials and back-up to Members.  To create a proper structure within the Chapters to enable business service to be provided to entrepreneurs.  The fostering of long term relationships between Members for the empowering of all. . ICBN and other networks ICBN will seek Partnership with other like-minded Networks in order to promote a Global Kingdom vision.  Apart from linking all of the ICBN Chapters electronically across the globe ICBN is committed to co-operation and growth of the Christian Economic Sector in the world.   Statement of faith We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, supernaturally inspired, and it is the divine authoritative standard for people of every age and walk of life.  We believe the Godhead exists eternally in three persons . . . the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit . . . and these three are one God.  We believe in God as the absolute and sole creator of the universe and that the creation was totally by Him.   We believe God, by His own choice, out of love for man, sent Christ into the world to die and provide salvation for all sinners.  We believe such salvation with its forgiveness of sins, brings us a new nature and assurance of eternal life . . . is entirely apart from good works or man's efforts . . . and is a pure gift of God.   We believe that Jesus Christ in the flesh was both God and man . . . that he was born of a virgin . . . and that He lived a sinless life in which He taught and wrought every miracle exactly as revealed in the four Gospels of the Bible.   We believe He was crucified . . . died as a penalty for our sins . . . and was raised from the dead bodily on the third day.  Later He ascended to the Father's right hand where He is the head of the Church and intercedes for all believers.  We believe He will come again personally, bodily, and visibly to this earth to set up His kingdom.   We believe that in His death and by His shed blood, the Lord Jesus Christ made a perfect atonement for sin . . . and that men are saved and justified on the simple and single grounds of belief in His death on the cross.  We also believe Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life . . . and that no one can enter the kingdom of heaven except through belief in and acceptance of Him.  We believe it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and His indwelling Spirit.  We believe that God's Holy Spirit indwells all believers . . . and is the source of love, prayer, peace and power in our daily lives.
